Wendy’s passion for nursing began in her teens as she had a pull to make a difference in peoples lives. Nursing is a profession that has allowed her to care for others in their time of need physically, emotionally and spiritually. It has been an honor and privilege for Wendy to be the nurse for those patients entrusted to her care for over the past 26 years.

Her journey into health care began as an Emergency Medical Technician. She was a mere 18 years old when Wendy was certified. Being able to run 911 calls began a passion for emergency medicine. During nursing school she was able to work as an emergency room technician and gain valuable experience. Graduating from Rutgers University with a Bachelors in Nursing in 1997, Wendy was hired and worked as an Emergency Department Nurse for over 10 years. Her next area of work was home care where Wendy was an Admission Nurse for over 10 years. This is where her love for education began. Teaching patients about their own health and care was essential and fulfilling. Wendy obtained her Forensic Nursing License and worked as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner for a period of time while also substituting in schools as a school nurse. Finally, Wendy has been in education for over 3 years working in an LPN program. She has taught several didactic classes as well as clinical. Wendy’s desire is for her students to become compassionate nurses while providing the highest level of quality care .

As a Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience, I have been involved in the development of NurtureNCLEX, a test preparation platform under Talino Technologies. My expertise lies in leveraging technology to make learning more efficient, particularly in the context of board exam preparation. I aim to curate board exam learning experiences that are tailored to the needs of the learner by providing a platform that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of test preparation. My background in healthcare and passion for leveraging educational technology positions me to create impactful learning solutions for aspiring professionals in the medical field.
